Station history
Pantelimon is the eastern terminus of line M1, opened in 1991 as a one-station extension from Republica. It was built next to the Pantelimon depot, where Șoseaua Dudești-Pantelimon meets Șoseaua Gării Cățelu. The station has a single track, so only some M1 trains run this far; the rest turn back at Republica.
